BENEFITS

What exactly is Zuba Central ?

It's an incredible and effective way to provide year-round comfort in your home.

Zuba is a family of cold-climate heat pumps featuring Hyper-Heat technology, developed as a residential heating and cooling system specifically for Canada. Offering exceptional heating performance in winter and effortless cooling in summer, Zuba Central provides year-round comfort with or without additional auxiliary heating. Furthermore, Zuba Central’s unique warm-start technology delivers heat immediately upon startup, helping to reduce drafts.

What does Central Zuba represent for you?

You can now enjoy the comfort, savings, quality, and reliability you deserve. The secret behind Zuba Central’s superior heating capabilities is our efficient, patented Hyper-Heat® (H2i®) cold-climate technology. Designed for the Canadian market, Zuba Central operates at 100% of its heating capacity at -15°C and continues to deliver exceptional heating performance when the outside temperature drops as low as -30°C*. Its unique defrosting mechanism provides an extended period of continuous heating between defrost cycles and minimizes the required defrost time.

Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) and Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER)

Featuring the same semiconductor used in space satellites, Mitsubishi Electric’s i-see Sensor 3D directs the perfect amount of heating or cooling to those who need it most. And when you leave the room, it automatically switches to energy-saving mode to help reduce your costs.

Seasonal Heating Performance Factor (HSPF) and Coefficient of Performance (COP)

HSPF measures a heat pump’s efficiency over an entire heating season. COP tells you how efficient it is at specific outdoor temperatures during the heating season. Higher HSPF and COP ratings mean greater energy savings. Zuba offers high HSPF and COP ratings, ensuring your comfort during the cold winter months.

Energy Star® Certification

Most models in the Zuba Central range are Energy Star® certified, guaranteeing you a comfortable space while reducing your energy consumption.

Introduced in January 2024, LogisVert is a financial assistance program offered by Hydro-Québec to Quebec residential homeowners who wish to carry out energy improvement work in their homes. The goal of the program is to reduce electricity consumption and contribute to Quebec’s energy transition.
If you own one of the homes listed below, you are eligible for the subsidy.

Please note that, to be eligible for the program, all these properties must be located in Quebec, habitable year-round and supplied with electricity by the Hydro-Québec grid, an autonomous network or a municipal or cooperative network.
